History
East Westwood sits on a few hills near Westwood, in between Westwood, English Woods, North Fairmount, Millvale, South Cumminsville, Village at Roll Hill, and Northside. It was formerly known as North Fairmount and re-zoned in the 1990’s. East Westwood is a neighborhood in Cincinnati, Ohio with a population of 2,741. East Westwood is in Hamilton County. Living in East Westwood offers residents an urban feel and most residents rent their homes. In East Westwood there are several parks. Many families live in East Westwood and residents tend to be liberal. The public schools in East Westwood are above average.

Te'Airea Powell
Te'Airea Powell, raised on McHenry Avenue in East Westwood, is dedicated to improving her community. Active in the Youth Community Council as a teen, she later ran for Cincinnati City Council in 2021, driven by a desire to bring much-needed resources and attention to East Westwood. As President of the East Westwood Improvement Association, she works to create a safe environment for families, focusing on issues like gun violence and resource equity. Te'Airea also serves on the boards of the Hope Resource Center and Cincinnati Peace Builders Network, advocating for increased voter turnout and community empowerment.

Robert Moore
Robert is a lifelong member of East Westwood and was raised on McHenry Ave. In his youth, Robert was a member of one of the first Youth Councils in East Westwood. He is now a business owner, mentor and a youth advocate, and still serving the residents in East Westwood. He works hard to improve the quality of life in the community.

Kimberly Springer
Kimberly Springer is an Elder at Third Presbyterian Church. She has attended Third Presbyterian church for 7 years. She has also been a volunteer at Third Presbyterian Recreation Center for 7 years. She also enjoys volunteering at Roll Hill School. Kimberly lives in the North Fairmount Community called English Woods.

Reggie Roberts
Reggie is a community activist in East Westwood, a neighborhood of Cincinnati. For over 25 years, Reggie has worked with the youth of this community and the surrounding community. In the early 1990s, Reggie co-founded Praise God Baller Basketball.
After returning to his neighborhood of East Westwood and seeing the negative changes. He stepped up to help young people. Through his church, Third Presbyterian, and East Westwood Community Council, Reggie has worked to provide recreational, educational, and community service opportunities to youth.
In his free time, Reggie likes coaching basketball; watching movies; and spending time with his wife, Christine, and sons, Reggie J and Sebastian

April Johnson
April has been a resident of East Westwood Community for 35 years and attends Third Presbyterian Church. She serves as an Elder of Third Church, a Trustee for East Westwood Community, and President of the Community Garden. Additionally, April sits as a Board of Director for the Hope Resource Center and a mentor with Third Presbyterian Friendship Program. April is also a mom, grandma, and loves serving her community.

Grace Grayson
Grace’s family has lived in East Westwood Community for over 50 years. Grace is a HR Technology Analyst for Macys over 30 years. She served as acting secretary for East Westwood Association for 3 years. Grace currently serves as Trustee for EWWA. She loves her community and is looking forward to serving in all capacities.Grace is a wife to an amazing husband and a mother of an awesome son. Her hobbies are Dancing, Exercising, and spending time with her husband and family.

Rodney Christian has been the President of the East Westwood Community for the last 5 years. Having grown up in East Westwood, one of his first goals as President was to give local children access to recreational activities in the community and much more. Rodney has a passion for building community and serving East Westwood.
